Job Description

One of the top Irish law firms are seeking to hire a professional development lawyer in a new position that has opened up due to the growth of the firm. This role is ideal for a solicitor with around 3-5 years PQE who is looking to move away from target-driven work and instead focusing on the learning and development of all lawyers within the firm. This is a full-time, permanent role with excellent flexibility. The successful candidate will mostly be working 9-5:30pm and without financial targets, so long working hours won't be required. It also has a great hybrid policy, with the requirement 2 days a week in office and 3 from home. All in-person meetings can be planned to suit their own schedule on their chosen office days. The role will involve: Providing support and career guidance to trainee solicitors throughout their training contracts Conduct 1-to-1 meetings with trainees providing regular objective reviews Overseeing the introduction of the firms new L&D scheme which is being implemented across the business for lawyers of all levels Manage this scheme annually from initial set-up through to completion Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
