Power System Studies Engineer
ESB is seeking a Power System Studies Engineer to join its team in Dublin/Cork offices, with travel to project locations as required.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical capability, excellent communication and report writing skills, and the ability to project manage and prioritise own work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out and documenting technical studies such as power flow, short-circuit, transient stability studies, protection relay settings and other technical studies.
- Understanding the technical, commercial, and financial nature of the power system studies projects and being able to direct and manage coordination of same with internal and external stakeholders.
- Meeting requirements for project safety, quality, programme and budget, and monitoring projects from the initial contact through to final delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a related field.
- Strong technical capability and excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to project manage and prioritise own work.
