**Job Summary** Develop and support the introduction of a new professional doctorate program in design, leveraging university expertise and resources. The role is to develop and support the introduction of a new professional doctorate program in design, funded by the TU RISE project. Utilising the university's program development process, benchmarking of existing professional doctor programs would take place in conjunction with stakeholder mapping. This would be followed by a period of intense stakeholder engagement and analysis of stakeholder input to inform the academic development of the program. Key responsibilities include: * Addressing key factors around program feasibility, capacity, and capability * Designing program structures, learning and research outputs, and academic delivery structure * Collaborating across the university to design a program that leverages knowledge and experience * Working with the head department to bring the program through from design into implementation This 12-month specified purpose role has been created to allow full dedication to the programme development activity, buying out the teaching load of a lecturer grade academic.
