Develop a new professional doctorate program in design for the TU RISE project, leveraging the university's expertise and resources to create a cutting-edge academic program. The role involves developing and supporting the introduction of a new professional doctorate program in design, funded by the TU RISE project. **Key Responsibilities:** • Benchmark existing professional doctor programs using the university's program development process • Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement to inform academic development • Analyze stakeholder input to design program structures, learning and research outputs, and academic delivery structure • Collaborate across the university to design a program that leverages knowledge and experience • Work with the head department to bring the program through from design into implementation **Program Development:** • Develop a program that addresses key factors around program feasibility, capacity, and capability • Design program structures, learning and research outputs, and academic delivery structure • Collaborate with stakeholders to inform academic development and ensure program relevance **Collaboration and Communication:** • Work closely with the head department and stakeholders to ensure program success • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather input and feedback • Collaborate across the university to leverage expertise and resources **Program Implementation:** • Work with the head department to bring the program through from design into implementation • Ensure program feasibility, capacity, and capability • Design program structures, learning and research outputs, and academic delivery structure This 12-month specified purpose role has been created to allow full dedication to the program development activity, replacing the teaching load of a lecturer grade academic.
