Making Connections Programmes Lead Job Title: Programmes Lead Reporting To: Executive Director Contract: Full time 37.5 hours per week (subject to funding), 6 months probation period. Location: The role primarily covers the Dublin South area, with a business address in Clonskeagh. While our team operates remotely, you will be required to travel to various locations across the county for meetings, assessments, and programme management. Occasional travel outside of Dublin may be necessary. Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends is required, with time off in lieu provided. Our mission is to alleviate loneliness and isolation among older people, empowering them to age well in their own homes and stay connected in their community. We deliver a range of community-based individual, and group supports. Our main partners include HSE, local government, business partners and other local agencies. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful implementation of programmes in alignment with the organisation's Strategic Plans. Provide strong leadership for both social walking programmes, ensuring strong stakeholder management and achieving new programme resourcing to expand to new locations Manage the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of; Walk & Talk Group Programmes in partnership with the HSE (multiple 8 week group currently operating in two locations) Weekly Social Walking Programme - supported by Healthy Ireland through local county council Coordinate the Making Connections Individual Supports Programme as part of a team: monitor referrals and support service delivery through assessments, developing support plans, signposting to agencies, and coordinating volunteers for social and practical support (e.g., befriending, hospital discharge, decluttering, digital device assistance) Strengthen referral pathways and expand our network of referring agents through relationship building and collaboration, including information-sharing meetings with HSE primary care teams, community healthcare networks, and GPs Monitor and evaluate all programmes, analyse data and produce reports for management and external stakeholders, including funders Work closely with the Executive Director and staff to ensure the charity wins additional funding contracts and partnerships required for the sustainability and growth of the programmes Assist with the management of programme budgets Other Key Areas of Work Strategic Input: Actively contribute to strategic planning and decision making with the wider team towards the development and growth of the organisation. Networking: seek out and build relationships with key stakeholders to identify synergies and opportunities to collaborate (e.g. local council, HSE managers, relevant networks and organisations). Storytelling: ensure the capture photos and testimonies; create compelling written and visual content to demonstrate the positive impact of our programmes; and tailor this content to relevant audiences (from social media to partners and funders). Data Handling & Compliance: Ensure accurate record keeping is maintained (Excel and CRM, Salesforce); and ensure that all programmes are compliant with key policies and procedures including GDPR and Adult Safeguarding. Work with the team on other projects/programmes as required and carry out general administrative duties and such other duties which do not significantly change the nature of the post, as may be determined by the Executive Director/Board. Skills and Experience: Essential Third level qualification in relevant field (or equivalent work experience) Outstanding track record of high achievement in your career to date At least 3-years relevant experience in project/programme development, resourcing and implementation (preferably in non-profit sector) Strong project management, organisational and administrative skills Demonstratable track record of effective relationship building IT savvy with experience using Excel, and CRM (Salesforce or similar), and can adopt use of new software with ease Desirable Experience contributing to strategic planning and decision making Good understanding of the Community and Voluntary Sector Experience working with vulnerable people Familiar with National HSE policies regarding integrated care for older people Other Essential Requirements: Eligible to work in Ireland Owns a car + full clean driving license Located in, or within short commute of Dublin South Garda Vetting How to Apply Please apply via our application form via the APPLY NOW button.
