Programme Manager
Aviva is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a multi-year, multi-functional programme with significant spend, delivering critical business benefits and ensuring effective control over costs and resourcing.
About the Role
- Manage a breadth of senior stakeholders and internal teams, working with vendors and other third parties on whom the programme is dependent.
- Agree programme scope and objectives, facilitate preparation of business case, and set up programme governance.
- Develop a roadmap for implementation, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and reporting on progress.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of new technology platforms, build a high-performing programme team, and ensure resource availability.
- Monitor programme costs, risks, dependencies, and issues, and develop metrics and KPIs to monitor progress.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate the vision, progress, and benefits of the transformation to all stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to proactively address challenges and mitigate risks, ensuring the programme remains on track.
- Strong decision-making and prioritisation skillset, with ability to operate effectively under pressure in dealing with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Leadership and strategy experience, including building and leading high-performing teams and managing relationships with third-party vendors.
