Programme Manager

Aviva is seeking a Programme Manager to lead a multi-year, multi-functional programme with significant spend, delivering key strategic change and driving business benefits.

About the Role

  • Manage a breadth of senior stakeholders and internal teams, working with vendors and third parties to deliver the programme.
  • Develop a roadmap for implementation, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and reporting on progress.
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of new technology platforms, building a high-performing programme team and ensuring resource availability.
  • Monitor programme costs, risks, and dependencies, developing metrics and KPIs to track progress.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate the vision and progress of the transformation to stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively address challenges and mitigate risks.
  • Leadership and strategy experience, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams and manage relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Project management qualifications and experience of applying change methodologies, with a certification in PMP, PRINCE II, or Agile.
