Introduction IOB is the largest professional membership organisation in Ireland. It is a community of almost 33,000 members who work in banking and in both local and international financial services across the island of Ireland. A Recognised College of University College Dublin (UCD), the professional development of members is at the heart of IOBs activities. IOB offers more than 45 education programmes ranging from Professional Certificates to Masters Degrees and almost 7,000 members are currently studying on its programmes. Lifelong learning is crucial to sustaining a successful professional career and the Institutes has the largest continuing professional development (CPD) community in Ireland with 25,000 members. IOB is a not-for-profit organisation. Job Title: Programme Manager (1 -year Fixed Term Contract to cover Career Break) Reporting to:Programme Director Position Summary The role holder will manage all aspects of specific programmes and modules throughout the complete life cycle of the programmes. This will include supporting the Programme Director in the design phase, through to the delivery phase incorporating changes on an annual basis and wind down as the programme comes to the end of its life. The role will involve engagement with key stakeholders including external faculty and working with the Programme Director and the Dean to ensure deadlines and standards of quality and excellence are met for all programmes in their remit. The Programme Manager will also support the marketing of the programmes, co-ordinate the development and delivery of content and assessment materials, answer student queries, attend exam boards and work with the Programme Director to ensure that the academic rigour and practical relevance of the programmes are maintained. Principal Duties Manage the accuracy of all programme information both internally and externally. Plan and coordinate the delivery of the programme/modules including eLearning, manual content and workshops as appropriate. Work as part of a team with the Dean, Deputy Dean, Programme Director, associate faculty and other programme managers to review and develop existing programmes and help design new programmes. Manage the admissions of students onto programmes/modules, to ensure admission criteria are met and relevant documentation is prepared for approval. Supporting the sales and marketing activities for the programme. Ensuring that all learners have ahigh-qualityCustomer Experience. Ensure that Associate Faculty have the supports needed to deliver high quality, engaging learning. Attend and contribute actively to monthly Educational meetings. Develop micro learning content for IOB Learn and work closely with the Education Team. Liaise with educational partners as required. Co-ordinate the provision of assessment material and/or results for processing by Registry. Be an effective communicator with all key stakeholders throughout the delivery of the programme. Ensure strict adherence to relevant Quality Assurance processes and help develop processes. Work closely on supporting IT platforms to deliver examinations and assessments. User testing of IT enhancements as required. Undertaking training to assist with programme development and delivery. Collaboration across the business and in projects and/or initiatives as required Perform other duties as assigned. Technical skills Knowledge of QA procedures within education/IOB. Knowledge of IOB programmes and modules. Knowledge of UCD regulations as they relate to IOB. Proficient in Salesforce. Proficient IT skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Qualifications and Experience Primary degree in business/financial services or education or 5 years experience in a financial services or education environment. QFA holder desirable.
