Job Summary: We are seeking a Programme Facilitator to promote and support independent living and community integration for individuals with disabilities in Ennis, Co Clare.

We are an independent voluntary organisation providing services and support for people with disabilities and their families for over 70 years. Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their goals.

Job Description:

As a Programme Facilitator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering person-centred programmes to meet the needs of service users. This will involve:

  • Developing and implementing person-centred plans to support individuals with disabilities
  • Facilitating educational, developmental, recreational, and occupational programmes and activities
  • Supporting individuals and groups in accessing their community to meet identified needs
  • Maintaining records and reporting on programme progress

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience supporting adults with intellectual disability and people enduring mental health issues
  • Experience of working in a Day Service Setting (1 year minimum)
  • Experience of facilitating and implementing a person-centred plan
