Job Description

Job Summary: Programme Facilitator role supporting individuals with disabilities in Limerick, promoting independent living and community integration through educational, developmental, and recreational programmes.

We are an independent voluntary organisation providing services and support for people with disabilities and their families for over 70 years. Our work positively impacts the lives of over 10,000 people with disabilities, equipping them with the confidence, skills, and self-belief to achieve their goals.

As a Programme Facilitator, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering person-centred programmes to meet the needs of service users
  • Being a key worker to service users to facilitate the Person Centred Planning process
  • Identifying goals and supports required by individual service users and maintaining records
  • Supporting individuals and groups in accessing their community to meet identified needs

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum QQI Level 5 in Social Care, or equivalent
  • Experience supporting adults with intellectual disability and people enduring mental health issues
  • Experience of working in a Day Service Setting (1 Year min)
  • Experience of facilitating and implementing a person-centred plan

Additional Requirements:

  • Good report writing skills and IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Full driving license is essential
