Programme Supervisor Fixed-term contract (6 Months), Full time (39 hours) Tus Nua, Residential Service, Co. Limerick Job Purpose Promote and support independent living and community integration, personal development and work opportunities for service users by assisting the Manager in the development, implementation and delivery of quality customer focused and cost effective community services to service-users through the provision of individual programmes and activities to meet the needs, choices and abilities of service-users. Minimum Education & Skills Required - Level 7 (NFQ) or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care. - Well-developed people management skills, with proven experience of building, leading and motivating a team. - Track record of liaising with service users and their families to ensure the best quality of care. - Experience of working with adults with disabilities - Experience of the design and delivery of individual programmes for people with disabilities or those who are marginalized. - Full clean drivers licence. Job Duties & Responsibilities - Responsible for the operational management and ongoing development of services supporting people with complex needs. - Line manage a large team across a large geographical area. - Manage service budgets and ensure proper budgetary controls are in place. - Build trusting relationships and communication with service users, facilitating them to identify their goals, strengths and needs. Support service users to establish and enhance their natural support circle. - Supporting service users to identify the community based supports they would like to avail of. - Research and devise Community Profiles, sourcing activities in service user's communities and develop and maintain partnerships with local organisations.
