The Role: This is a project analyst role within the Group IT Project Management Office, accountable for supporting the governance and reporting of all Group IT projects. This role involves supporting the delivery of the portfolio of Group IT projects ensuring that the projects are tracked appropriately and that they are delivered on time and on budget. This involves on-boarding of projects, review of business cases, tracking of projects in JIRA, our project management tool, and engaging with a broad range of business stakeholders and the broader project team to deliver projects successfully. This role will report directly into the Group IT Head of PMO in Glen Dimplex’s Head Office. Responsibilities: Support project owners with processing projects through intake to ensure projects are set up for successful delivery within defined cost, budget, quality and timescales. Ensure projects are set up correctly in project systems for reporting and tracking. Support Group IT project owners with project processes, e.g., facilitating project planning, facilitating project lessons learnt. Support creation of monthly reports for reporting on the IT project portfolio. Ensure the effective maintenance of IT project applications, completing system administration, training and support for users. Support the Project Management Office to ensure the PMO delivers value for Glen Dimplex Group IT stakeholders. About You - Key Skills and Experience: Have 2-4 years’ experience in a PMO environment. Effective presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business. Experience of working with teams using a wide variety of frameworks and methodologies (traditional waterfall and iterative/agile delivery and process improvement methodologies). Experience of using project tools (e.g. JIRA, Project Plans). Personal Attributes: Continuous improvement mindset. Ambition to develop into a Project Manager. Highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude. Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills. Proven ability in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
