Position Summary

Arcadis DPS Advanced Technology Group is seeking a Business Operations candidate to join our team in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial data and providing checks and balances, and analysing project data to keep costs and schedules on track. The project controls candidate duties shall include initiating, planning, monitoring and controlling, communicating, and closing out project costs and schedule.

This position will be based in Cork and is full time on-site.

Procurement Support

  • Submit purchase order requests to ProcOps team
  • Monitor and address any questions from XFN partners to ensure timely and accurate responses to ensure expedient execution of POs

Forecast Support

  • Facilitate gathering and input of forecast information from teams
  • Maintain forecast baseline in SFM tool

Month End Support

  • Accruals – help business identify and book accruals in adherence to corporate finance guidelines including following up with business and vendor as required
  • Follow up on non-accruable invoices that should be received to ensure timely actualization of spend

Quality Control

  • Coordinate with PSS ensure PO accuracy and breakdown is in accordance with expectations including but not limited to dates received, amounts, descriptions, etc to assure ease of forecasting and updating in SFM tool.

SFM

  • Weekly ensure all POs are mapped in the tool in coordination with PSS
  • Monitor and track to maintain accurate forecasting and actualization of budgetary items. (part of weekly report)

Fiscal Commentary

  • Identify trends via report to Engineering managers on a weekly basis
  • Provide backup and documentation for large spend forecasting tracking (part of weekly report)
  • Raise impactful changes to spend forecast to business and finance
  • Support teams in gathering information to present to management on spend and forecast

Material Management/Operations Support

  • Perform inventory count and support material transactions, including shipment packing following appropriate SOPs

Experience

  • Related technical experience (w/case studies where possible)
  • Financial knowledge and ability to analyse, interpret and identify spending trends
  • Create a consistent reporting structure for the teams on a weekly basis within the first 3 months and get approval of format
  • Documentation of deliverables

KPI/SLA's

  • Weekly reports delivered every Monday
  • Respond to all requests for information and POs within 1 business day
  • Maintain SFM unmapped POs below 5% average in any work week for each budget code
