The Daybreak conference and Trade Show is an annual milestone event. bringing together our retail partners, suppliers and our teams in Musgrave to recognise success and future proof our retail offer. Role Purpose: Responsible for developing a clear plan and critical path for the Daybreak Conference / Trade Show / presentation of the Store of the Future initiatives and ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to. The individual will direct and coordinate all activities to prepare for and deliver the event. Areas of Responsibility: Management and Finance: ? Oversee overall plan by scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and providing appropriate follow-up. ? Work with Category Manager, Head of Retail Sales and Marketing to develop and monitor budgets and ensure revenue and expenses are kept within established boundaries. ? Ensure supplier Supplier Investmentsto support event are recorded and forwarded to Senior Controller for financial tracking and processing. Event Management and Administration: ? Work with appropriate individuals to develop and monitor timelines and deadlines related to all aspects of event, ensuring the information is communicated with colleagues, suppliers and retailers. ? Work with CM, Head of Retail Sales and Marketing to develop a program for event including speakers/suppliers, topics, and timing and communicate with speakers regarding their commitment to the event. ? Manage database and registration process, including on-site registrations, to assure accurate registration data Name badgesfor all Musgrave colleagues, suppliers and retailers. ? Responsible for coordination (in conjunction with supply chain and suppliers) to oversee shipping of materials needed for event and ensure their prompt arrival. ? Support negotiation of income from suppliers through the development of a Supplier Briefing Document and rate card. Coordinate plan around tiered suppliers Event Logistics: ? Assist in the evaluation and selection of location for event, as far in advance as possible, supported with regular site visits. Prepare and facilitate review of alternative site information, leading to selection of a final location and property for the event. ? Key liaison between trading and suppliers to ensure all queries regarding Trade Show are addressed in a timely manner. Work with Marketing and the contractor responsible for suppliers/exhibitors/sponsors to ensure all logistical details of working within their designated area including signage, promotion, registration, and on-site POS/fixturisation. Communication and Promotions: Develop and monitor timelines/promotional schedule for event, working with promotions manager to ensure adequate and relevant promotion for Daybreak Retailers. Work with Promotions manager to review promotional materials prior to distribution, i.e. Trade Show promotional brochure, supplier POS, etc. Provide information on the event to the Marketing team for promotion on the Daybreak Portal including details for registration, photographs (after events), listing of vendors, listing of attendees, etc. Experience, Skills and Education: Strong commercial acumen and interpersonal skills including strong influencing skills Min. 2/3years` relevant experience within the FMCG Retail or Foodservice Trade working within a Trading/ Buying environment Relevant Third level qualification Ability to prioritise workload and differentiate between urgent and important tasks and stay calm under pressure. Relevant previous project experience Skills: PC literate in Microsoft applications including Power Point, Word & Excel.
