Project Director - App Development - Azure, SharePoint, Dynamics Our client, an IT/ data integration consultancy, is seeking a proactive Project Director to oversee project teams and ensure timely project completion. The Project Director will be a part of the executive team, contributing to strategic direction, revenue, and margin targets. They will establish the Project Management Office (PMO) and coordinate the utilization of PM and BA resources to achieve agreed targets, including resources from technical and Partner organizations. Project Director Responsibilities Assist in establishing a Project Management Office overseeing multiple projects, including implementing document control policies and documentation templates. Liaise with stakeholders such as the management team, Sales/Pre-sales, project personnel, partners/vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements. Maintain a good working knowledge of platforms within their portfolio and those added over time. Ensure compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards. Compile project reports and inform management of any issues. Plan resources in line with project growth and pre-sales activities. Ensure projects comply with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other standards. Within Projects Discuss potential projects with clients, executives, technical teams, and partners. Plan project blueprints, define scope, identify resources, set deadlines, establish communication strategies, indicate tests and maintenance. Lead the project team, supervise project stages, track milestones, deliverables, and change requests. Serve as a liaison for project information and deliver solutions to clients. Project Director Requirements 10+ years of experience in senior management roles. 15+ years in project/program management. Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field. Thorough understanding of software development life cycle. Strong understanding of on-premise and cloud-based enterprise solutions, data, system integration. Strong understanding of App development - Microsoft, Azure, and associated platforms. Outstanding leadership, organizational, decision-making, and management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and people skills. Understanding of MSP ticketing and Alert Management Systems.
