Our journey is one of continuous growth and success, we are seeking a candidate who possesses a high level of commitment and passion for their role within the company.In return we offer a competitive salary, progression opportunities, additional annual leave, Employee Assistance Programme, personal development and Cycle to Work Scheme.Overview of role:The Project Engineer (Civils) will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.Key Responsibilities:Assist project manager in all duties required to safely, compliantly and profitably manage the daily operations.Schedule engineering projects and monitor project delivery.Manage compliance with quality assurance policies, standards, and project specifications.Lead the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.Get prices from suppliers and raise purchase orders in ERP system; receipt goods and consume goods on a weekly basis for the project.Liaise with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders; monitor project budgets and programmes.Supervise operations and manage sub-contractors.Assist in day-to-day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and keeping clients up to date as operations progress.Ability to solve problems quickly in a fast-moving environment.Specify, procure, and manage plant, machinery, and equipment.Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and AutoCAD, ERP system.Prepare and coordinate civil & structural engineering drawings using AutoCAD.Understand Health and Safety requirements and adhere to company H&S standards.Occasional travel to and from work sites.Conduct on-site quality auditing and record as-built information.Process survey and site investigation information.Prepare calculations and drawings.Prepare material specifications.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.3+ years of experience in a civil engineering role.Proficient in using design software (e.g., AutoCAD).Experience with project management tools and methodologies.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.For more information on the Gaeltec team, please visit our website www.gaeltecutilities.comApply for this positionFull Name * Email * Phone * Upload CV/Resume * Allowed Type(s): .pdf, .doc, .docx By using this form you agree with the storage and handling of your data by this website. * #J-18808-Ljbffr
