We are seeking a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of engineering projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with all project and business safety and quality goals. The successful candidate will have experience in project scheduling, capital management, and commissioning, as well as a third-level qualification in engineering or a related field. They will also have experience working in a GMP regulated environment and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with SAP, LIMs, and other business systems is beneficial, as is 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem-solving methodology training. The Project Engineer will work within an engineering team in a multinational corporate environment and will be responsible for leading the delivery of engineering projects, updating and influencing management and project stakeholders, and coordinating project interfaces with other projects and departments. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and team player with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role is a 12-month contracting position based in Cork. **Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead the delivery of engineering projects on time, on budget, and in accordance with all project and business safety and quality goals.
* Scope new engineering projects and secure capital approval.
* Lead, support, and participate in commissioning and qualification activities.
* Update and influence management and project stakeholders.
* Coordinate project interfaces with other projects and departments.
* Coordinate project documentation.
* Cost estimation and project scheduling.
* Project progress reporting and risk management.
* Constructability and maintainability studies.
* Project resource management.
* Checking the current condition of systems.
* Organization and coordination of project meetings and appointments.
* Provide project-related training as required. **Requirements:**
* Third-level qualification in engineering or a related field.
* Experience in project scheduling, capital management, and commissioning.
* Experience working in a GMP regulated environment.
* Qualification in project management.
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Experience with SAP, LIMs, and other business systems.
