Seeking a skilled professional to develop innovative building systems and products, conduct technical assessments, and provide guidance on building regulations.

Your New Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing multiple building systems and products, including offsite construction/MMC panelised and modular building systems manufactured from light gauge steel, hot rolled steel, concrete, ICF, and timber, along with new construction products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical assessments on innovative construction products.
  • Provide guidance on building regulations to clients.
  • Provide technical advice to clients regarding innovative building systems and their ability to meet legislative requirements.
  • Facilitate and supervise building product or system testing on behalf of clients.
  • Develop innovative construction products and building systems for clients to meet their brief.
  • Assist clients in achieving certification of their products/building systems.
  • Assist with implementation of product development strategies for new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Honours degree in a relevant engineering/construction discipline.
  • 5 years relevant experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Testing, Certification, Construction or Manufacturing Environment.
  • Knowledge of building regulations.
  • Competent project management skills and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with and build relationships with clients.
