Your New Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing multiple building systems and products, including offsite construction/MMC panelised and modular building systems manufactured from light gauge steel, hot rolled steel, concrete, ICF, and timber, along with new construction products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments on innovative construction products.
- Provide guidance on building regulations to clients.
- Provide technical advice to clients regarding innovative building systems and their ability to meet legislative requirements.
- Facilitate and supervise building product or system testing on behalf of clients.
- Develop innovative construction products and building systems for clients to meet their brief.
- Assist clients in achieving certification of their products/building systems.
- Assist with implementation of product development strategies for new and existing clients.
Requirements
- Honours degree in a relevant engineering/construction discipline.
- 5 years relevant experience with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Testing, Certification, Construction or Manufacturing Environment.
- Knowledge of building regulations.
- Competent project management skills and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with and build relationships with clients.
