Job Description

Equipment Engineer sought to develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal production practices and equipment performance.

As an Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support to deliver equipment solutions that meet manufacturing needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Introducing and validating new equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with Value Streams to identify opportunities for equipment improvement, including automation, vision systems, and robotics.
  • Working with Product Development to establish equipment requirements for new products.
  • Engaging with external vendors to review equipment proposals and select vendors.
  • Resolving production and engineering issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Validating new equipment and ensuring maintenance and calibration requirements are met.
  • Transferring and validating equipment from other sites.
  • Debugging production issues with automated equipment.
  • Ensuring relevant documentation is prepared and updated in line with quality and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP regulated Operations Department environment.
  • Prior experience working in Medical Devices is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
