Job Description

Project Engineer Supporting and assisting the Project Manager/Site Manager/Contracts Manager in the operations of a project to achieve project completion within programme and budget whilst delivering high quality service. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Maintain accurate records and provide necessary detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing. * Assist in the compiling, filing, and uploading of all projects specific testing certificates/logs/checklists to the Operation & Maintenance Manual to enable a smooth handover of project. * Control all aspects of project documentation utilizing various control methods/systems. * Ensure all documentation provided is as per Client quality formatting requirements. * Planning and procurement of all resources including labour materials and subcontractors in a timely manner to suit site programme requirements. * Assist in the commercial aspect of the project: * Valuations * Variations * Ability to identify potential co-ordination/commercial risks and ensure prompt reporting of same to Senior Management. Follow direction of Senior Management in undertaking work duties. * Have a practical understanding of scheduling and the associated commercial implications. Ensure close collaboration with Planning Engineer regarding accuracy of progress reporting. * Implementing all Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Duties and compiling/uploading of all QHSE Documentation. * It is important that you present a professional image about appearance and standards of dress. * Set an example of enthusiasm, loyalty and hard work in the performance of all duties. Skills Required: * Exceptional attention to detail & organisational skills whilst working in a high-pressure environment. * Strong computer skills with expertise in Microsoft Office and Auto-cad. * Excellent customer relationship skills. * Ability to work on own initiative and can prioritise without direction. * Speed and accuracy of information a priority. ISO Responsibilities: * Comply with QHSE Management System requirements i.e. perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required. * Understand and apply our QHSE policies statement in all aspects of your work. * Contribute towards achieving company objectives. * Ensure that the needs and requirements of internal staff and customers are understood and delivered. * Help develop and improve internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates and improvement ideas
