Job Description
As a project engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a 2050 vision for the power system, considering short-term impacts and long-term goals.
- Conducting power system modeling and analysis using software like Plexos, PSSE, and programming languages such as Python.
- Engaging in scenario planning, specialist system studies, standards, and tools development, and offshore planning.
- Managing strategic power system analysis projects, ensuring the delivery of complex solutions.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in the power industry.
- Understanding of energy targets and decarbonization ambitions in Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Europe.
- Demonstrated ability to introduce innovative solutions and collaborate effectively.
- Proven experience in managing strategic projects and driving successful outcomes.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and develop high-performance capabilities in a dynamic environment.
