Job Description
Maintain and implement projects that support manufacturing needs. A self-starter with a degree in an engineering discipline and 2-3 years of experience in a medium-sized manufacturing environment is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining project scope through meetings and discussions
- Coordinating project activities, including design, sourcing, and installation
- Maintaining project costs and schedules
- Liaising with the HSE department to ensure health and safety requirements are met
- Designing and developing equipment to meet production requirements
- Modifying equipment for process upgrades
- Providing technical support for projects from other departments
Specific experience requirements include:
- Use of Permit to Work System or other Safe Systems of Work
- Preparation of capital expenditure requests and cost estimates
- Management and reporting of project budget spend
- Preparation of key project documents, including Project Scope and User Requirement Specification
Desirable experience includes:
- Bulk Tabletting Manufacturing
- High speed tablet packaging
- Topicals cream manufacture
- Sterile fill finish of liquid into vials and ampoules
- Sterilisation processes
- Design and fabrication of process equipment
- Small scale civil and construction works
