Project Engineer role involves providing engineering support for capital projects, including design, construction, commissioning, and handover, with a focus on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
SK biotek Ireland is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team to support the implementation of in-house projects over the next 12 months.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting all phases of capital projects from concept to implementation and close-out
- Maintaining a strong safety culture and performance in project implementation
- Ensuring successful project delivery that meets business needs and regulatory requirements
- Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with stakeholders
- Identifying effective engineering design solutions that meet project requirements
- Planning and supporting project delivery that meets regulatory requirements
- Ensuring equipment qualification activities are completed in line with site procedures and best practices
- Developing and improving engineering standards and services offered to clients
- Generating and maintaining project schedules to track project activities
Required qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process) and at least 3 years project engineering experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience at an API manufacturing site, preferably with knowledge of piping systems, drying systems, reactors, centrifuges, vacuum, heat/cooling systems
