Project Engineer A global market leader in Security Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to join their company that has a financial turnover of over one billion worldwide! THE COMPANY: Our client is a global security systems integrator who have a fantastic reputation from their over 30-year history. As an integrator, our client works alongside a global network of partners and manufacturers to design, install, and service security, fire alarm, and AV solutions for their clients. Due to their continued success our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. THE ROLE: The successful candidate will work in a hybrid role, splitting their time between working mainly in the Dublin office, but also doing site visits and work from home opportunities: Lead the design of complete security systems on site - CCTV, alarms, and access control. Oversee a team of design / CAD technicians. Design software examples include - AutoCAD, PlanGrid, and Bluebeam. Remain involved throughout delivery of project - tech support, manage RFIs, ensure plan is delivered as per spec. Site visits, carry out site survey & scope out work for Data Centre projects in Ireland and Europe. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds: Must have Data Centre experience. Prior security design experience is preferred. The company will train up a commissioning / senior security engineer in this role. Will also consider those from the Electrical Contractor market. Experience working as design engineer, project engineer, electrical engineer, commissioning engineer or any other senior engineering role will be beneficial.
