Project Engineer Summary: Deliver capital projects to support plant operating strategy, manage multidisciplinary project design, and liaise with suppliers and consultants.
Our client's manufacturing facility in Drogheda requires a Project Engineer to report directly to the Projects Manager and deliver a portfolio of capital projects that support the plant operating strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the Projects Manager to define the scope of projects and manage project execution
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and legislation
- Liaising with suppliers, designers, and consultants
- Preparation of Tender Documents for the supply and installation of equipment
- On-site supervision of contractors
- Management of project budgets and schedules
- Completing project handover to operating plant
- Design and feasibility studies
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in project execution
- A degree/qualification in Engineering/Projects Management or related discipline
- Experience in management of safety aspects of projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Auto CAD
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Experience operating in heavy industry an advantage
