Project Engineer required to deliver capital projects in manufacturing facility.
Our client is a leading manufacturer with a range of ongoing and upcoming projects in environmental and process improvement, energy reduction, alternative fuels, and alternative raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with Projects Manager to deliver capital projects supporting plant operating strategy
- Define project scope with internal stakeholders
- Manage project execution and compliance with safety regulations
- Liaise with suppliers, designers, and consultants
- Prepare Tender Documents for equipment supply and installation
- On-site supervision of contractors
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Complete project handover to operating plant
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in project execution
- Engineering or Projects Management degree/qualification
- Experience in safety aspects of projects advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Auto CAD
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Experience in heavy industry an advantage
