Project Engineer – Life Science/ Pharmaceutical

Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality project management and engineering services across a broad spectrum of projects, catering to a diverse range of clients, including industrial, pharmaceutical, medical device, commercial, and educational sectors, as well as local authorities and private clients.

The Project Engineer will benefit from excellent mentoring and support from our Project Management Team and our designers to deliver projects throughout the industry, across all stages.

The Project Engineer will provide key input to all areas of project execution including Health & Safety, Design Team Coordination, Schedule, Quality, Cost, Tendering, Local Authority Approvals, Meetings, Construction Stage Support, and project handover.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Project Engineer to join a dynamic consultancy, with exposure to multiple varied projects throughout the industry, and excellent career progression opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

1. Minimum 5 years experience working as a Project or Design Engineer ideally with life sciences/pharmaceutical project experience
2. Experience to date could include working in a Consultancy, with a Contractor or on the Client side
3. Qualifications – Structural, Architectural, Civil
4. Have an understanding of project stages, team roles, standard industry practices and procedures.
5. An ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment and an ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines.
6. Must be able to plan, organize and implement concurrent tasks and projects.
7. Health & Safety awareness.
8. Experience of preparing Contract documents and Project Management would be an advantage.
9. Experience of inspecting construction works.
10. Perform work in compliance with our Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
11. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and team working skills.
12. Flexible and enthusiastic
13. Attention to detail and accuracy
14. Experience of pharmaceutical/industrial projects would be an advantage
15. Experience of Planning, DAC & FSC applications would be an advantage
