As a Project Engineer (Internship), you will work with the project engineering team throughout the project lifecycle, taking ownership of specific components and preparing documentation as required.
Responsibilities
- Work with flexibility within the Project Engineering Department and in co-operation with other Departments.
- Support the project engineering team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare documentation as required during the project lifecycle.
- Manage contractors during project implementation.
- Support planning, execution, and review of projects during annual maintenance shutdown events.
- Report activities to direct line manager and work closely to achieve targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with departments' customers.
- Participate in Safety and Environmental training and adhere to safe working practices.
- Maintain compliance with site procedures and policies.
General Responsibilities
- Drive and promote corporate values within the workplace.
- Ensure timely completion of SOPs, reading, training, and assessment.
- Perform other duties as required by the relevant Manager or other Officer.
Requirements
- Current participation in an Honors Engineering Degree or related discipline.
- Previous experience in an engineering role is advantageous.
