Role Duties: Hold Civil Engineering, Construction Management Degree or a relevant trade certification Knowledge of Construction Contracts in particular Public Works Contracts. Accountable for coordinating weekly and daily activities with the Site Foreman, Engineers & Other Site Staff. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, collaborating with teams, including Senior Quantity Surveyor, to guarantee timely and budget-compliant project completion. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients, and both internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring onsite systems comply with internal policies and regulatory standards in health & safety, wellbeing, environment, quality, and sustainability. Overseeing that construction tasks adhere to the designer's drawings, and relevant specifications. Extensive experience of the construction industry, specifically within a general civils environment. Previous experience of infrastructure, drainage, public realm, highways and structures Proven track record with delivery of large sized schemes or experience of work on multiple schemes at any one time Proven people management skills including the management of subcontractors Proven client & Stakeholder management skills Excellent people skills with proven leadership qualities and the ability to motivate others Excellent communication, organisational, planning and time management skills What Murphy Ireland Offer In Return: Competitive salary and benefits Discretionary annual bonus and annual salary review Above market rate contributory pension scheme available from day one 27 days annual leave per annum.
