My client based in Mullingar is looking for a Project Manager (Construction) to join the team This role is a 18 month fixed term contract with a view to go longer working on a hybrid model. Job Responsibilities Oversee contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the store construction process Handle Planning Permission, Fire Certificate, and Disability Access Certificate applications Manage the design and tendering processes for construction projects Lead negotiations and awards of contracts for construction projects Appoint and coordinate the project design team Serve as the contract administrator for construction projects Attend and lead site meetings Oversee costs, schedules, quality, and Health and Safety requirements for construction projects Manage value engineering efforts Take on additional responsibilities as needed Experience Required Minimum of two years of construction experience preferred Proficiency in computer and administrative skills Valid full driving license Willingness to embrace new challenges and experiences Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work well within a team and independently Essential and Desirable Skills Minimum of two years of construction experience preferred Proficiency in computer and administrative skills Valid full driving license Educational Requirements A degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field in Construction Working Hours & Benefits Company-provided car 20 days of annual leave, increasing to 25 days after 2 years Private medical insurance for employees Company pension scheme after one year of employment Flexible working hours Free parking Up to 2 days of remote work per week Discounts on services like health insurance and bike to work schemes Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave, Marriage leave, Employee Assistance Program Onsite canteen Discounts on mobile and broadband services HOW TO APPLY: If you are interested in this role, please apply for this role with your updated CV and I will be in touch to discuss your application in detail.
