YOUR ROLE As a Project Manager, you will work with Sogeti's clients across different industries on governing and managing a wide range of projects. You'll have the chance to utilise Sogeti's best-practice procedures as a part of a valued team. By applying diverse methodologies, you'll ensure that processes are being followed and deadlines are being met. You will also have the opportunity to engage in pre-sales planning and mobilisation activities and will be responsible for end-to-end project management of our projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects end-to-end, with full delivery responsibility, including managing project scope, schedule, financials, risk, issue, resourcing, and governance. Operationally drive the delivery execution utilising relevant Capgemini & Sogeti methodology, Programme & Project Management methodologies (Waterfall / Agile / CRISP-DM) and principles, and leveraging your own experiences, to ensure project execution on-time, within budget and meeting or exceeding the expected level of quality. Oversee day-to-day activities and task management of the project team. Document project scope, prepare project plan and monitor delivery, prepare project status reports, change and risk logs, manage and monitor project cost/budget, communicate with relevant stakeholders. Proactively communicate and manage risks and issues. Monitor benefits realisation in the form of key outcome metrics. Identify and make decisions that have a significant impact and escalate decisions that cannot be resolved within the project to the agreed governance forums. Accountable for project team adherence to project methodology and ensures any deviations are addressed. Lead, motivate, and support project teams. Ensure projects comply with required standards or legislative constraints. Collaborates across the organisation & externally, including external regulatory bodies and stakeholders. Identifies and manages cross functional interdependencies. Influences and negotiates project outcomes with senior stakeholders, often across multiple functions. Prepares and presents analysis, insights, and recommendation to assist agreed governance forums with decision making. Contribute to the development of project management methods and expanding the knowledge base within the practice. Take an active part in sales and pre-sales activity; lead the implementation planning of the engagement, covering the definition of methodology, delivery model, timeline, organization, governance, resourcing, roles and responsibilities, and project and program management principles, processes, and tools. Participate and contribute to the negotiations for contracting the engagement and take a key role in drafting the statement of work and in particular the related project plan. Actively manage the client relationship to ensure client satisfaction. Work with client and Capgemini / Sogeti stakeholders to develop the account strategy, and to develop the client relationship on a strategic level, via overall services portfolio management, strengthening Capgemini's position as a strategic partner to the client. Skills & Requirements YOUR PROFILE 5+ years of experience in managing and implementing complex projects. Prince 2 Practitioner or PMP certification. Excel at using project management software tools such as Ms Project, JIRA. Self-motivated, proactive, innovative, and driven to achieve desired results. Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, planning, prioritisation, reporting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Experience leading delivery within a client-facing customer-supplier commercial environment across multiple technologies. Excellent story telling skills to convey important project deliverables and critical insights from data using a combination of textual and visual narrative techniques. Proven ability to shape propositions and projects that deliver effective business outcomes for clients whilst managing internal commercial and delivery risk. Excellent people management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplined teams. Ability to manage the finances of a project, including a clear understanding of revenue, cost and associated margins.
