Project Manager required for Cork office to lead project teams, manage contracts, and develop strong client relationships.
AA Euro Group has been retained by one of Ireland's largest Developers to recruit a Project Manager for their Cork office. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to progress their career with a highly respected employer.
The role involves leading one or multiple project teams to ensure contracts are completed on programme, managing compliance with company and current health & safety legislation, and supporting the project surveyor in the management & control of contract costs & variations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing programme risk and experience of early interaction with design teams to ensure design deliverable dates & details are achieved.
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with the management team, subcontractors, and main contractors.
- Planning/scheduling of works.
- Developing strong relationships with clients.
- Management & assessment of contractors quality of work & their ability to maintain scope programme.
Requirements:
- Third level qualification in a construction related field.
- At least 7 years post graduate experience, 2-3 years in the role in a managerial role with a recognised Main Contractor/Developer.
- Proven record of delivering large scale Commercial, Pharmaceutical or Industrial projects.
- Experience of RC Frames and High Spec Fit-Out elements within projects.
- Candidates must be capable of taking responsibility for a number of projects concurrently.
