A leading Financial Services client in Dublin is looking for a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager to lead high-stakes infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery aligned with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within scope, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, define goals, and manage budgets, identifying required resources.
- Plan, manage, and communicate timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
- Ensure technical feasibility and adherence to best practices and standards.
- Perform risk management to mitigate project risks.
- Monitor project performance, focusing on successful achievement of short and long-term goals.
- Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Oversee day-to-day project operations, including scope and change management.
- Ensure adherence to frameworks and maintain appropriate documentation for each project.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure cloud infrastructure (AWS) meets security and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
- Strong expertise and hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects, with a history of successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, virtualization, cloud technologies, and data centers.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
