Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of data centre construction projects. You will be based in Dublin, managing project issues both remotely and on-site, with a rotational presence at project sites, initially in Sweden and then returning toward the end of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate issues on-site, working closely with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives to resolve any challenges that arise.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address concerns, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company objectives.
- Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies to senior management and clients as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
- At least 2 years of experience specifically in data centre construction or related industries.
- Background in trades or a relevant degree/qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage project teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on-site, with a rotational presence in Sweden for 3-week intervals during the initial and final phases of projects.
