Job Description
Experienced Project Manager sought to lead high-value bespoke automation projects in fast-paced manufacturing environments, with a strong background in project management and automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of complex, custom automation projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, milestones, resources, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver project outcomes.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Present project status, updates, and key metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project support and collaboration.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure automation solutions meet manufacturing environment requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through automation.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing complex, high-value automation projects in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in project management, ideally within automation, robotics, or engineering sectors.
- Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as MS Project, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Excellent understanding of automation technologies, robotics, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and automation designs.
- Auto Cad experience an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Ideally an Engineering or Technical Qualification and Project Management Qualification.
