Information Security Project Manager
The
Mongo DB Security Organization is responsible for understanding cybersecurity risks and threats, implementing policies and technology to reduce risk, and ensuring the security of every employee and customer.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure consistent and efficient management of the Security Organization's projects
• Plan projects in a business-appropriate manner to ensure successful on-time delivery using available resources and capacity
• Build strong working relationships and influence internal and external partners
• Prioritize multiple projects and report project details to management
• Juggle project data and task-tracking, and identify areas for automation
• Communicate across technical and non-technical teams
• Apply knowledge of technology development best practices, including Agile
• Expand knowledge of new domains in all areas of the business
Position Expectations
• Maintain excellence of project governance with internal and customer stakeholders
• Partner with Information Security leadership and internal customers to identify and report requirements, issues, and opportunities
• Work across cross-functional teams to deliver large, complex IT solutions
• Ensure effective communication with multiple levels of leadership involving business and technical aspects
• Act as the glue between Information Security teams and internal customers
Success Measures
• Understand the Information Security Organization's goals, current priorities, and project management methods within 3 months
• Assist with Info Sec project management and help update processes based on feedback within 6 months
• Recommend and implement process improvements within the Security Organization within 12 months
