Job Opportunity: Project Manager Location: Dublin 2 (Hybrid Working) Salary:€50,000 per annum Contract: 12 months Our client, a progressive public sector body, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of their energy efficient programme within the Business Supports and Transport Department. This exciting opportunity focuses on driving business decarbonisation and energy efficiency initiatives, helping Irish businesses meet the targets outlined in the Climate Action Plan. Role Overview: As the Business Decarbonisation Supports Executive, you will play a critical role in project management and technical support throughout the full lifecycle of the clients grant scheme. You will assist in project applications, evaluation, grant management, inspections, and payments. Additionally, you will contribute to the clients Certified Programme, improving customer journeys, refining certification audits, and developing case studies to showcase success stories. Key Responsibilities: Provide project management support to the relevant Programme Manager. Manage grant applications and oversee the full grant cycle from evaluation to payment. Assist in enhancing the clients Certified Programme, including audit methodologies and client engagement. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships. Drive improvements in business energy efficiency and decarbonisation strategies in line with I.S. 399 standards. Essential Requirements: Minimum NFQ Level 7 degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related discipline. At least 3 years of experience in energy or business-related roles. Proven experience in project management and business process development. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Proficiency in IT, particularly MS Excel. Desirable Skills: Experience in the sustainable energy sector or with SMEs and industry. Commercial awareness of the challenges facing Irish businesses. Experience delivering training, analysing data, and managing large-scale grant programmes.
