Currently recruiting for a Project Manager for my client who are based in Dublin City Centre. Candidates should have a good general understanding of building alterations and refurbishments. Candidates should be able to brief, supervise, communicate and negotiate with Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Contractors & Tenants. The role will also involve liaising with Tenants on their maintenance & operational obligations within their units. Duties & Responsibilities; * Manage Centre contractor works during any Landlord project works. * Liaise & communicate with Landlord Project Management team throughout fit-out projects. * Familiarise yourself with Tenant fit-out details and make sure they deliver the fit-out per agreed specifications. * Ensure all contractors adhere to all health & safety requirements whilst working. * Lead all plant replacement/upgrade projects from tendering to completion stages. * Maintain, update & retain all drawings including cabling, ducting & plumbing routes. * Keep Centre updated on new legislation within your field. In conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, maintain the maintenance elements of the Centre's fire safety strategy manual. Advise & assist the Maintenance Manager in the tendering of all maintenance contracts to ensure best value for Tenants & centre. Qualifications: * Qualified Architectural Technician or similar 3rd level qualification with previous design experience. * Previous experience within a relevant environment such as a Shopping Centre or similar environment. * Sound knowledge of key systems found within large commercial buildings /Shopping Centre Environment. * Possession of a health & safety qualification would be an advantage. * Experience in operation and interrogation of BMS and CMMS. * Computer literate and technology aware/up to date with technology within the building management/ facilities management arena. * Have an innovative approach and an ability to work on own initiative. * Be results and achievement orientated. * Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when required.
