Position: Project Manager - Sprinkler Division Location: Dublin Company Description We are a leading engineering services company with a proven track record of high quality, customer focused project delivery for over 130 years. Job Description o To successfully deliver the Projects assigned to them by Senior Management. o Oversee all project staff and operations under their remit. o Adequately resourcing of contracts with relevantly trained operatives and quality suppliers. o Implementing group policies and procedures and ensuring they are adhered to. o Reporting of their project's performance to the General Manager and Managing Director. o Maintaining strong customer relations with frequent site visits, progress updates and resolving issues. o Review and improve project delivery effectiveness by implementing company lead improvement projects. Projects Manager duties include: o Implement the companies Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Project Management processes on their projects. o Overseeing Site operations regularly ensuring the above-mentioned processes are implemented and adhered to. o Monitor & Control project budgets / margins performance with Senior Management monthly. o Make certain that contracts are correctly mobilised and planned in terms of a budget and a clear scope communicated to Supervisors and Operatives. o Ensure all on site practices are being adhered to and insist on a 'right first time' culture both in Safety and Quality. Verify QA checks and works sign off on site are completed and complete same should it be required. o Support 'EHS' by preparing safety paperwork, monitor all health and safety practices through site walks and check they are being adhered to through toolbox talks, site inspections and equipment checks. o Make certain site records and substantiation are complete and maintained in the job file. o Ensure progress and variation information is being captured for accurate reporting o Maintaining a highly motivational work environment at all levels and the functional dept's through active engagement with all personnel. o Provide feedback to senior management on standout performance from our employees, subcontractors and suppliers and keeping senior management informed of issues as and when they arise. o Support implementation of company lead improvement projects at the work front. Skills and Requirements 5+ Years' Experience in Fire Protection Design & build businesses or similar Mechanical roles. Relevant qualifications in Project and Construction Programme Management, to NFQ (National Framework of Qualifications) Level 8. Capable in planning and project budgeting. Knowledge of Project Management processes and functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Design, Site operations etc.). Excellent communication skills. High performing organizational and leadership skills.
