Main Purpose of Role: Due to continued expansion, Murphy are looking to recruit an Electrical HV/MV Project Manager to work in our Power Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for project delivery through initial work winning phase, through design, construction, commissioning and handover leading the Murphy Team along with managing other stakeholders such as Clients and Eirgrid & ESBN. Projects will be HV/MV and will include: Design & Construction of new Substations and grid connections for renewable energy generation assets such as Wind Farms and Solar Farms Design & Construction of upgrades to existing substations and other assets on the national grid Design & Construction of new Substations and grid connections for Data Centre projects Design & Construction of Overhead Power Lines Design & Construction of Underground Power Cables Qualifications & Skills: Degree qualified Electrical Engineer (preferrable Chartered with Engineers Ireland) Minimum of 5 years' experience working for a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor in Ireland as a HV/MV Project Manager or Senior Electrical Engineer looking to move up to Project Manager Demonstratable experience of managing HV/MV projects including: Safety, Health & Environmental Management Design management within Eirgrid/ESBN parameters Procurement of major equipment Planning, programming & resourcing Commercial & Contract management QA/QC & Commissioning of projects What Murphy Offer In Return: Competitive salary and benefits Discretionary annual bonus and annual salary review Above market rate contributory pension scheme available from day one 27 days annual leave per annum.
