The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of marine and port-related projects, ensuring successful delivery within time and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage marine and port-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure that project activities are executed in accordance with established requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively resolve any issues that may impact project delivery.
- Provide regular project status updates to senior management and key stakeholders, and address any concerns or deviations from project plans.
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless integration of project deliverables into existing marine and port infrastructure.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project management processes and outcomes.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing marine or port-related projects, with a strong understanding of industry-specific processes and requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and drive successful project outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as MS Office suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to marine and port operations.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects within specified constraints.
