Job Summary: North is a dynamic and innovative technology company dedicated to reshaping the landscape of financial risk and compliance management. We seek an accomplished Project Manager to lead the oversight of North's initiative for developing an AI-powered Fraud, Risk, and Compliance Platform. Position Overview: As the Project Manager within North's R&D function, responsibilities include oversight of the progress of all initiatives, management of the scrum master team, as well as preparing documentation required to comply with Irish Government requirements for funding. What youll do: Oversee and manage the organization's portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business goals. Develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio management framework, including prioritization criteria, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria. Conduct regular portfolio reviews to assess project progress, risks, and financial performance, and adjust priorities as needed. Implement project management best practices and standardize processes across the portfolio to optimize efficiency. Work closely with project teams to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Communicate portfolio status, issues, and resource requirements to executive leadership and stakeholders. Develop a strategy for documentation required by government bodies to support funding received for R&D initiatives. What we need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, PfMP) are a plus. Proven experience as a Portfolio Manager, demonstrating successful oversight of diverse projects. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, portfolio analysis, and risk management. Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommendations. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Experience with financial analysis and budget management within a portfolio context. Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing priorities and business requirements. Commitment to fostering a collaborative and results-oriented portfolio management culture. Familiarity with Irish Government reporting requirements relating to funding will be a distinct advantage. Additional Information: Direct Reports: 1-3 This is a hybrid role - as part of our hybrid work model, employees are expected to be onsite at our Limerick City office on in-office days.
