Project Manager (Relocate to Canada) Exciting opportunity for aProject Manager to relocate to Canada and join the Building Division of one of Canadas Largest Main Contractors (Circa $3 Billion turnover annually) to work across a mixed portfolio of High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare, Airport, Defense and Educational projects. Duties: Provide safety leadership through implementation of Bird Safety Program and monitoring of safety performance of project team and subcontractors. Planning, scheduling, setting objectives and controlling activities during the construction phase of a project(s) in conjunction with the Project Superintendent and Project Team. Supervision and development of project team members through regular feedback, training and coaching; timely completion of performance evaluations. Administration and management of prime contract and subcontracts; includes negotiation and awarding of subcontracts for scopes of work as well as review and evaluation of subcontractor performance. Manage project budget and billings and work with accounting to ensure timely payment of A/R and A/P. Review and analysis of costs and identify revenue opportunities. Monthly and quarterly reporting on financial and overall performance of project to Senior Management. Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects and subcontractors. Requirements: Degree/Diploma/Trade in Construction or Engineering Discipline. 5 Years+ in Construction / Project Management for a Main Contractor in Ireland/UK. Experience delivering projects with values €25 Million+. Solid understanding of construction industry practices. Strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards and building practices, including building codes. Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. IT Skills: MS Office, MS Project, Bluebeam and Plan Grid. Available to relocate permanently to Canadawithin 6-9 months. Benefits: Salary $100,000 to $120,000 CAD (Circa €65k to €80k) + Vehicle allowance Bonus / Profit sharing scheme.
