Job Description
Job Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience to lead a team of area engineers and manage the mechanical scope of work on a construction project in Cork/Denmark.
\n\n**Key Responsibilities:**\n\n• Manage a team of area engineers responsible for specific construction areas on the project.\n• Provide technical support to area engineers and resolve engineering queries in the field.\n• Collaborate with the construction manager to monitor the project schedule and prioritize off-site pipe and support fabrication.\n• Coordinate with mechanical and other disciplines on site.\n• Prepare weekly progress reports for the client and project manager.\n• Monitor the mechanical scope of work and identify potential out-of-scope work on site.\n• Ensure timely delivery of MSL supplied equipment.\n• Coordinate project activity with the offsite fabrication team.\n• Attend weekly progress meetings and conduct safety audits.\n• Work with the QA lead to ensure piping systems are handed over to the client on schedule.\n\n**Requirements:**\n\n• 5+ years of mechanical experience with at least 2 years in a lead role.\n• Relevant engineering degree.\n• Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical systems and products.\n• Strong communication and reporting skills.\n\n**What We Offer:**\n\nA competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.
