We are seeking a skilled Moulding Engineer with 8 + years of experience to manage projects within our moulding operations. As the Project Moulding Engineer you will ensure compliance with industry standards and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement are key to this role, along with a commitment to safety and environmental best practices. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO requirements in all moulding engineering work, both in execution and documentation. Provide detailed project specifications, drawings, procedures, and tender documents while complying with site GMP procedures. Integrate health, safety, and environmental best practices into every project to ensure safe, execution. Prepare project justifications and lead the projects in terms of time management, cost control, and reporting. Prepare capital requests and ensure purchasing activities follow organizational policies. Maintain accurate project spending records, ensuring alignment with budget and supported by the Finance Department. Provide input on potential new or alternative materials for cost reduction and moulding improvements. Supervise contractors working on projects, ensuring quality and safety. Ensure project work causes minimal operational disruption and is fully integrated into existing processes, including procedure development and employee training. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation aligned with Lean principles and Process Excellence. Lead key processes such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Process Design (PD), and Design of Experiments (DOE). Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of project information and timely updates. Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management. Educational Requirements: A degree in Polymer Engineering or a related discipline. 5+ years of experience in a similar moulding role, ideally with experience in a regulated environment. We will consider industries outside of medical devices and pharmaceuticals. Proven ability to work with and influence key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Demonstrated ability to organize and lead cross-functional teams to successfully complete projects from concept to completion. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under strict deadlines. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively share information and updates with diverse teams. Attention to detail, adaptability, and teamwork skills are essential.
