Job Title: Project Planner Construction Location: Newbridge, Kildare Working Type: Hybrid/Remote depending on experience. Role Overview: Optimize are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project plans that comply with company procedures and standards, ensuring the successful delivery of projects across various sectors. Responsibilities: Developed detailed, resource-driven project programmes to meet required expectations and standards. Collaborated efficiently with team members to achieve project goals. Prepared bid programmes and assisted in the development of tender submission materials. Promoted and implemented best practices in health, safety, and environmental matters. Prepared and managed resource schedules for project reviews. Worked with design engineers and estimators to plan and justify temporary works and other indirect costs. Contributed to the risk register and conducted programme risk analysis. Supported the coaching, training, and development of team members. Maintained organized and accessible project documentation. Prepared visual materials to support project methods and presentations. Participated in handover meetings to ensure smooth transition from bid to delivery phase. Ensured compliance with company health, safety, and legal requirements. Adhered to company policies and procedures. Skills & Experience: Extensive experience with various planning techniques in both tendering and contract delivery. Ideally experience as an Engineer with Civils/Infrastructure projects. 3rd Level Qualification in Engineering or relevant discipline. Strong understanding of the commercial and contractual aspects of planning. 5+ Years in Construction Project Planning Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Project.
