Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project / Senior Engineer to work on projects in our gas and utilities sectors, including supporting RPS's delivery on GNI Framework projects.
- Support the delivery of a variety of gas / energy projects and provide clients with a professional, proactive, and efficient service.
- Direct Engineers and Technicians in the production of design reports and construction packs.
- Contribute to the delivery of gas energy projects at all levels, including surveys of existing gas infrastructure installations, liaison with third parties, and development of enduring design solutions.
- Assess design hazards in the context of the Health & Safety (Construction) Regulations and produce/review design calculations, drawings, cost estimates.
- Provide technical input and advice to clients in relation to gas / energy infrastructure projects and explore opportunities for innovation and sustainability.
- Progress reporting and client liaison, including presentation of design reports for review and discussion.
- Support the development of existing design competences within the Gas & Utilities team.
About You
- 3-10 years of relevant post-graduate experience in the energy or gas sectors.
- Experience in the design of energy / utilities infrastructure.
- Experience of the design of gas infrastructure in Ireland or elsewhere is an advantage.
- Experience with ATEX Regulations and design is an advantage.
- Hold a clean driving licence.
Requirements
- Level 8 degree in Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent is an advantage.
