Job Description
Seeking a Property & Casualty Underwriter to deliver excellent customer service, develop technical ability, and play a key role in managing the current book.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and process renewal business, ensuring alignment with company guidelines, authority limits, and business objectives.
- Handle new and existing business referrals through the company's digital platform, processing them efficiently in line with company procedures.
- Engage with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders through in-person and virtual meetings.
- Coordinate with the company's global network to facilitate the placement of international programs.
- Ensure adherence to company standards for policy documentation, timely quoting of new and renewed business, and compliance regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in property & casualty underwriting.
- Ability to demonstrate a practical, common-sense approach to managing various situations and resolving issues within tight deadlines.
- Keen interest in Multinational insurance programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Candidates should be enthusiastic about beginning or actively pursuing Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications.
