Job Description

Amazon is seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide application support, troubleshooting, and customer issue resolution for the GSO Security Integrations Group. **Job Summary** We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support Amazon's physical security system infrastructures, including access control, CCTV, visitor management, and incident management systems. **Key Responsibilities** • Provide day-to-day support operations for complex distributed physical security infrastructures • Respond to requests in a professional, efficient manner • Perform various programming and technical project/administrative related activities on security systems • Follow standard procedures for issue escalation • Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base Wiki articles • Work shifts that include holidays and weekends • Participate in an on-call rotation **Requirements** • 2+ years of customer-facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience • Experience scripting in Power Shell or other scripting languages • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field (Information Technology, Communications, Business, Criminal Justice, etc.) • Experience managing projects with shifting priorities • Knowledge of networking basics through work experience or education • Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners **About the Team** The Security Integrations Group (SIG) is an engineering team for Amazon's physical security systems across the globe. SIG provides 24/7 customer support for physical security systems and works closely with other teams to design, develop, deploy, and project manage these systems. **Preferred Qualifications** • Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems • Experience with physical security systems or their associated hardware • Ability to program to solve problems and automate repetitive tasks in common scripting languages • Hold a current ASIS CPP, APP, or PSP certification
