Job Description
A Senior Psychologist (Clinical / Educational) is sought to join our team in CHO1 Cavan CDNT. The role involves providing psychology services, including assessment and intervention, to children and adolescents attending services in the region. Key responsibilities include:
- Essential Criteria:
- University degree in Psychology with a 1st or 2nd class honours
- Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology
- At least five years post-graduate experience in professional psychology
- Competence in the Care Group applied for
- Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland or British Psychological Society
- Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in a senior post
- Interdisciplinary team working skills
- Assessment and intervention with mental health needs in children/young people with disabilities
